Sheena McCallion, Registered Social Worker, is honoured to have worked as a counsellor for over twenty years, walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they face challenges and grow. Specializing in relationships, Sheena draws from many trauma - informed approaches to match her clients’ needs. These include EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), emotion-focused and developmental couples therapy, sex therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, non-violent communication, mediation and conflict resolution, and family systems therapy. She is also a certified yoga teacher and incorporates mindfulness regularly.
Her qualifications include Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Social Work (with a clinical counselling specialization), as well as a Master’s Certificate in Public Management. She is an approved provider with Health Canada’s First Nations and Inuit Health Branch and works to practice cultural humility and engage in reconciliation.
